In recent years, our church has advertised in the Pride Rockland Directory of LGBTQ+ friendly organizations. This year, we are taking it a step further. We are participating with a booth at Rockland Pride in Nyack on Sunday June 11.
Set up begins at 9 AM and the official event is from 11 AM to 5 PM with the parade starting at 11:30 AM.
While there will be a worship service that day, we are asking for some to arrive early and help meet any early arriving attendees. (You can watch the service on our YouTube channel later, at your convenience.)
For those who attend the worship service, please come over after and help provide a strong presence. Wear your NHPC tee shirt if you have one. The sections of Broadway and Main Street with booths will be closed off to traffic, but parking at metered spots on Sundays is free in Nyack.
For those who attend NHPC, there will be a signup sheet in the Colonial Room. For any others reading this post, please stop by and say hello if you will be in Nyack during the event.
