Your gifts to this year’s Peacemaking Offering will benefit the Martin Luther King, Jr. Multi-Purpose Center in Spring Valley. Throughout the pandemic, they have been active in meeting the needs of children and families in our community–providing large-scale food distributions, blood drives, COVID-testing and a successful summer youth program! Please give generously, now through October 4th, and help the Center keep Martin Luther King Jr.’s dream of the “beloved community” alive here in Rockland County.
Our Race & White Privilege discussion group will meet on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at 7:30pm on the Great Lawn, weather permitting. We will be reading Ibram X. Kendi’s book How to Be Anti-Racist. Bring a lawn chair, a mask and be ready for thoughtful and lively discussion (socially-distanced, of course!).

We will continue to stream on YouTube, so you can choose whether to attend in person or virtually. Either way, join us at 9:55 for the Prelude! Masks and social distancing will be required. You will also be asked some screening questions regarding covid-19. There will be no singing and no spoken responses.
