Germonds Church has invited our congregation to join them for their chili cook-off and dance on Saturday, September 7. The Chili cook-off starts at 5:30 PM. Everyone is invited to bring a batch of homemade chili and create a name for it. They will be judged according to various categories. After judging, everyone can feast on the entries! Summer Worship 2013
Starting June 16, Father’s Day, we will return to our summer Worship schedule. Worship will begin at 10 AM. The Sunday School will be on hiatus until the fall when we go back to 11 AM Worship.

The Church School children will be leading Worship on Sunday, June 9. Thanks to Pauline Mattis, Syenni Lucas and all of the other instructors who teach our children. Also, thanks to the parents who help out and who support the program. After Worship, we will have a covered dish luncheon which will be, weather permitting, on the church lawn.

Members of the Hudson Valley Symphonic Wind Ensemble will present a concert of Chamber music to benefit the New Hempstead Presbyterian Church and the wind ensemble in the NHPC sanctuary. Beethoven’s Sextet for two clarinets, two bassoons and two horns will be featured, along with a variety of woodwind quintet pieces of several different styles. Please join us for an evening of fine music and light refreshments.

Palm Sunday Luncheon
It is hard to believe that the Lenten season is already here; therefore we at NHPC are already preparing for the Holy Week of Easter. The annual Pot Luck luncheon will once again be held in Murchison Hall on Palm Sunday, March 24. The Deacons will set up and provide beverages. All are invited to bring a favorite dish and join in on the fellowship and fun.
