On Sunday, November 21 immediately following Worship, the congregation of the New Hempstead Presbyterian Church will meet in the Sanctuary to hear the report of the Nominating committee and to consider a proposed change to the bylaws.
Dear Church Family,
Our Easter Season of worship services and activities is going to look a bit different this year due to COVID 19 safety concerns. Specifically, reservations for the Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday services are required. To make one you can leave a message on the office machine (845-354-2372), by sending an e-mail to email@example.com, or signing up in the narthex.
Palm Sunday — Since we are still only allowed 25 people at a time in our sanctuary, there will be a sign up sheet posted in the Narthex for you to use. The service will also be streaming on our website, as usual. Due to COVID concerns, we will not be having our usual pot luck luncheon. Link to: Anthem Video.
Maundy Thursday — This will be a hybrid service as we have been doing for several months now — some people worshiping in church and some virtually. Starts at 7:30 PM.
Good Friday — The service will be provided on our website by the Hudson River Presbytery. Starts at 7:30 PM.
Easter Sunday — As mentioned above for Palm Sunday, there will be sign up sheet in the Narthex. And again, sadly, there will not be an early service and breakfast or an Easter Egg Hunt. Worship starts at 11 AM.
Despite these circumstances, we can still joyfully and safely celebrate our risen Lord together!
In His Name, Sue Rentz, Chair of Worship, Music and the Arts

We will continue to stream on YouTube, so you can choose whether to attend in person or virtually. Either way, join us at 9:55 for the Prelude! In case of bad weather, service will be live streamed only. The Session has put together a set of policies for in-person worship: https://nhpchurch.org/COVID-19restart2020.pdf. Masks and social distancing will be required. You will also be asked some screening questions regarding covid-19. There will be no singing and no spoken responses. Please read the full set of policies before you attend. Join us in worshiping the Lord, either in-person or virtually!
