Pentecost is Sunday, June 9th, and again this year our Pentecost Offering will be dedicated to the Martin Luther King Jr. Multipurpose Center in Spring Valley. Your gifts will directly benefit children of our community who may not otherwise have the opportunity to attend the Center’s Summer Program. The Summer Program provides academic enrichment, field trips, music and fun in a safe and caring environment. Please give prayerfully and generously to the Pentecost Offering, and don’t forget to wear red on Sunday!
Special thanks to the Center’s Executive Director Nathan Mungin III and his wife Laura for worshiping with us last Sunday, and sharing stories of some of the families who benefit from our gifts. When our children thrive, our community thrives!
