We invite you to join us any Sunday morning for Worship followed by a fellowship time. Join us for snacks and conversation after every Sunday Worship service. The Deacons and other volunteers put out a variety of different foods each week for you to sample and enjoy.
The “Fellowship Breakfast” is held at 8:30 AM on the last Saturday of every month year-round at City Line Restaurant on Main Street in New City. No special invitations are necessary, just come on over and sit down!
All are welcome and invited, so mark your calendars and please join us!
The church has fellowship meals from time to time including a back-to-school luncheon in September, the Palm Sunday luncheon, an Easter breakfast and a church picnic in the summer. For additional information about these and any other activities please see our newsletter “The Carriage Stone“
Choir meets Thursday evenings at 8 PM throughout the Fall, Winter and Spring. If anyone wants to join us or see what it’s all about, please call Kryste Andrews, Director of Music or leave a message at the church office. You don’t need to read music to be a part of the choir. All are welcome.
Generally meets Sunday evenings from 4-6 PM. Young people 12 or older (and their friends) are invited to come & share some fun and fellowship with others their own age.

The youth group runs the weekly food drive. The People to People food pantry gratefully accepts all the donations that we provide. We highlight particular items that they are short of each month as a way to keep the hungry in our thoughts and prayers. Please leave your donations in the Narthex (back of the church).

Help make Thanksgiving a little brighter for a needy neighbor. New Hempstead Church has a long tradition of donating “Thanksgiving Baskets” to local families in need. Be sure to bring your food items to church on Sunday, November 19 so that we can distribute them before Thanksgiving. You can also sponsor a basket, and we’ll do the shopping for you. We’ll need volunteers on November 19 to shop and assemble the baskets.

- Stuffing mix
- Boxed potatoes
- Canned vegetables (2-4 cans)
- Canned sweet potatoes/yams
- Corn bread mix
- Cake/Brownie mix
- Cake frosting
- Canned cranberry sauce
- Soup (2 cans)
- Loaf of bread

Our annual “Welcome Back” Luncheon is Sunday, September 17th! Join us for good food and fellowship, immediately after worship. Bring a dish to share, and bring a friend!
Our “Memorial Walkway” was dedicated on Sunday, August 20, 2017. Thanks to Karl Witte, his family, his scout troop and the scouting parents for their help.
Our Annual Spring Tag Sale will be held on June 3, from 9 AM til 2 PM!
There is a huge variety of items on display: furniture, books, appliances, clothing, toys, games and household items of every description. Also, baked goods and grilled foods will be available for munching.
Grab the kids and come visit.
