On Sunday, July 10th, we will be worshiping at Stony Point Presbyterian Church. Join us there at 10AM, as we get to know our neighbors and continue our discussion of opportunities for shared ministry and witness in Rockland County.
Here’s a message from Rick Ufford Chase who will be sharing worship leadership:
I am very excited about our plans for worship this week, and I hope you all will be able to join us!
Bill Spataro and I will share worship leadership. The New Hempstead and SPPC choirs will gather at 9:15 to practice with an accompaniest who Sheena arranged for us, so the music should be great. The sermon will be a dialog between me Toney Earl and Tarik Greene, who are the staff for “Making a Difference Everyday” – MADE, which is an organization supporting people who have been incarcerated.
Following worship there will be a feast (provided by members of Stony Point Presbyterian Church), and a brief time of Fellowship, and then we will invite everyone to stay for a conversation with Toney and Tarik about the specific support they are looking for from the faith community.
9:15 – Choir Practice
9:45 – Worship leaders gather
10:00 – Worship
11:20 (ish) – Fellowship
11:45 – Congregational Conversation with Tarik and Toney
12:30 – head home
Please come, and take advantage of this exciting opportunity to invite friends to attend worship with you.
