We are collecting MEN’S GLOVES to be delivered to clients of the Salvation Army Canteen Food Program in Spring Valley. Men’s gloves are most in need, since most of the individuals served by the Canteen program are young immigrant men looking for work. Purchase a pair of warm winter gloves and bring them to Church by Sunday, December 13th, so they can be delivered in time for Christmas. Contact Laura Bidon with any questions.
Our Youth Group is carrying on the proud NHPC tradition of assembling Thanksgiving Baskets for distribution to families in need this holiday season. Whether you can contribute an entire “basket,” a few items from the list, or prefer to make a monetary contribution, all donations are welcome! Be sure to bring your donations to church by Sunday, November 22nd so that we can distribute them in time for Thanksgiving. Items needed include: Stuffing mix, boxed potatoes, gravy, canned vegetables, canned sweet potatoes, corn bread mix, cake/brownie mix, cake frosting, applesauce, canned cranberry sauce, canned soup. Bring frozen turkeys and bread no earlier than November 22nd, so we can store them safely.
